A Milestone of 10,000 Units – R&S M3SR Radio 4400 by Rohde & Schwarz

Rohde & Schwarz has achieved a significant milestone with the cumulative production of 10,000 units of its R&S M3SR Radio 4400. This marks 23 years of innovation and dedication to secure, reliable communication solutions manufactured in Germany.

Munich, May 18, 2026 – Rohde & Schwarz announced that production of the R&S V/UHF M3SR Radio 4400 reached 10,000 units in March 2026, marking a key milestone in the company's history. This achievement reaffirms the company's leadership in secure communications and its unwavering commitment to 'Made in Germany' quality.

The R&S M3SR Radio 4400 is a versatile software-defined radio used in mission-critical applications, including air force radar stations and naval communication systems. Its robust performance and adaptable architecture have earned high praise as a reliable solution even in the most demanding environments.

The R&S M3SR Radio 4400 plays a vital role in air force operations, providing reliable communication links to radar stations and command and control centers. As a naval solution, it serves as the core of Communication Reporting Centers (CRC) installed on frigates and other vessels.

All R&S M3SR Radio 4400 units are manufactured at Rohde & Schwarz's state-of-the-art facility in Memmingen, Germany. This milestone is a testament to the dedication and expertise of the entire team.
