Roblox Launches Official FIFA World Cup 2026™ Event Hub

Roblox, an online service used by over 150 million people worldwide, has partnered with the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) to launch the 'FIFA World Cup 2026™ Event Hub,' the largest official sports event in the platform's history. This global hub allows fans worldwide to connect with the intensity of matches on the real-world pitch in real-time, sharing the excitement through virtual play and community engagement.

'FIFA Super Soccer,' the official FIFA virtual home on Roblox, has been massively updated into the 'FIFA World Cup 2026™ Event Hub.' This hub reproduces all 48 participating national teams and actual 'FIFA World Cup 2026™' stadiums, and includes various features linked to the actual tournament, such as in-game quests, exclusive player rewards, and real-time scoreboards.

Moreover, the excitement extends beyond 'FIFA Super Soccer' to a total of six games, including five popular Roblox titles, through a large-scale crossover event.

FIFA's official content on Roblox has recorded over 1.1 billion visits to date, with an average of 1.5 million play sessions per day.

Concurrent with the event, Roblox and Ipsos released a new report, 'Sports as Shared Self-Expression,' analyzing sports engagement among Gen Z in digital spaces. Key data points include:

- 1.1 billion hours: Time spent in Roblox sports experiences in H2 2025 (+154% YoY).
- 5.6 billion visits: Total visits to Roblox sports experiences in H2 2025.
- 61% say interacting with sports on Roblox increases the likelihood of watching the sport in real life (IRL).
- 68% say interest in real-world sports drives them toward Roblox sports content.
- 58% have discovered a new sport on Roblox and subsequently followed it in the real world.
