The "TOMAS CUP 42nd Tokyo Prefectural U-12 Soccer Tournament," sponsored by RISO Education Group Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Toshima-ku, Tokyo, President and Representative Director: Masahiko Tenbo), was held from Saturday, June 20, 2026, to Sunday, June 21, 2026, at Inagi Central Park General Ground and Inagi Nagamine Verdy Field. Our group has continuously sponsored this event for 22 years, with the belief that children should learn teamwork and the spirit of fair play through sports.

On the second day of the tournament, Sunday the 21st, TV Asahi's "Udo Times" conducted on-site coverage.

Tournament Report

A total of 16 teams participated: selection teams from each of Tokyo's 1-15 blocks, and the Tokyo Tre-sen U12 Girls' Selection team, showcasing the results of their daily training. This is a traditional tournament that has seen players who went on to play in overseas professional leagues and the J.League. This year again, selected players aged 12 and under competed in high-level matches.

On Sunday the 21st, the second day of the tournament, the matches were held concurrently with the Japan national team's game (vs. Tunisia), amidst heightened interest in soccer. Coverage cameras from TV Asahi's "Udo Times" were present at the venue, capturing the players' passionate performances and the supportive cheers of their parents.
