A new frontier of Ghost Stories × ROCK — Written & Produced by ghost storyteller Ami, MikaL's "Kaidan ROCK - Someone's There -"

MikaL, a former member of the K-POP boy group Dae Guk Nam Ah (The Boss) who is currently active as a solo artist in both Japan and Korea, has announced the release of his new song "Kaidan ROCK —Dareka Iru—" (Ghost Story ROCK —Someone is there—) via M-Card on Saturday, April 11, 2026. The song is written and produced by ghost story teller Ami.

This track was first performed as the theme song for the stage play "Asakusa Kaidan Yashiki" (Asakusa Ghost Story Mansion), which was written and directed by Ami and staged in February 2026. It became a hot topic among the audience for being "catchy" and "addictive," leading to this long-awaited release.

Known as an avid fan of ghost stories, MikaL has been deeply involved in the world of horror, even hosting ghost story events with Ami in both Japan and Korea.

In this work, Ami's unique "Kotodama" (power of words) overlaps with MikaL's emotional and powerful vocals, creating a new form of expression: "Ghost Story x ROCK."

Furthermore, the music video features a dance performance, his first since his days in Dae Guk Nam Ah.

With catchy choreography that makes you want to mimic it and an addictive melody, the work leaves a lasting impression on both the visual and auditory senses.

On the release day, Saturday, April 11, a special release event will be held at Asakusa Hana Gekijo.

The following day, Sunday, April 12, a "Release Commemoration SPECIAL LIVE" has also been scheduled.

These two days will be an "Asakusa Special," featuring special benefit sessions for purchasers.

It will be a rare opportunity to enjoy content that can only be experienced here over the course of the two days.

The release event will include a free mini-live and a benefit session for M-Card purchasers.
