Ringrow Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Toshima-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director: Toshiyuki Ikari, hereinafter 'Ringrow'), which develops the sales and wholesale business of reused PCs, has started operating a hiring framework exclusively for time slots after 18:00 at its Niiza Center, where PC maintenance and shipping take place, starting in December 2025. This functions as a new receiving vessel for human resources who want to balance side jobs, academics, and family.

Under this initiative, we have introduced a system where the start time is not fixed between 18:00 and 22:00, allowing people to work from the time they can arrive. It is a hiring model that connects people who couldn't work due to time constraints with a workplace that couldn't fully utilize its operational capacity.

Focusing on the Gap Between 'Time I Want to Work' and 'Time I Can Work'
In recent years, as working styles such as side jobs and dual employment spread, the need to work using time after one's main job is increasing.

According to a survey by GMO Research, the most common time slot for executing side jobs across all generations is 'Weekdays 19:00 - 24:00', showing a trend where side jobs are concentrated in the night hours after the main job. Also, in a survey released by Teleremo Research Institute in November 2025, about 40% of all respondents with the intention of taking a side job answered that they want to work in a time slot including 'weekday nights'.
On the other hand, although night shift job openings exist, the reality is that the start time is often fixed, making it unable to accommodate detailed time needs such as 'I can work if it's from 19:00.'

Ringrow is promoting this policy as an effort to eliminate the 'wastefulness' existing on both sides, by focusing on this gap between 'time one wants to work' and 'an environment where one can actually work', as well as the 'margin of operation' existing on the site side.

Flexible Working Design Allowing Free Start Between 18:00 and 22:00
In this initiative, instead of fixed shifts like 'starting at 18:00', individuals can consult and change their work start time according to their own convenience as long as it is between 18:00 and 22:00.
As a result, it became possible to accept demographics who could not work due to time constraints, such as office workers wanting to work after their main job, homemakers after finishing chores, and students after class. We have received applications from about 30 people so far. Currently, 8 part-time staff members are enrolled, all of whom have a main job or studies during the daytime.

The work contents are broken down into fine processes centering on PC cleaning, designed so that the tasks can be handled in a short time and even by inexperienced people.
For example, by taking charge of tasks that do not require specialized skills, such as cleaning the back or bottom of a PC, we built a system where work holds up even in limited time. It realizes an efficient matching for both 'talents who want to work in limited time' and 'the site that wants to maximize operation'.

Ringrow has always valued 'utilizing value that can still be used' in the reuse PC business.
This initiative is similarly an attempt to find and utilize 'wasteful margins' such as 'talents who want to work but cannot' and 'time and space not fully utilized'.
Going forward, we will continue to aim for maximizing value for both human resources and the site through designing work styles not bound by conventional frameworks.
