Rimo Achieves Japan's First AI Agent Integration for Meeting Minutes Tools

Rimo LLC (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative: Naoyoshi Aikawa) simultaneously released CLI and MCP on June 2, 2026, allowing AI agents to directly reference meeting data from the AI meeting minutes tool 'Rimo Voice'. This enables AI agents such as Claude Code to call up meeting data directly, eliminating the need for manual information sharing by pasting into AI. By having AI autonomously reference meeting minutes, it can process tasks while understanding internal context. This is the first such support for a meeting minutes tool in Japan. In recent years, AI has evolved from a tool that talks and returns answers to an 'AI agent' that autonomously judges and acts. Services like Claude Code, where AI operates tools to complete tasks, are beginning to be used in practice, and the movement of companies linking their services to AI agents is spreading, mainly in the US. Until now, service usage forms were centered on 'to B' (for corporations) and 'to C' (for individuals), but now a new form called 'to A', where AI agents directly operate and reference services, is emerging. An era is coming where whether or not you have an 'access point for AI' will determine the competitiveness of a service. With this implementation, you can directly reference the minutes accumulated in 'Rimo Voice' just by asking an AI agent like Claude Code, 'Create a prototype of the new feature based on yesterday's meeting.' What was previously 'meeting content is something you see in Rimo' becomes an environment where AI agents autonomously read meeting data and use it for work as is. Because permission management is effective, content will not be returned even if an employee who cannot view management meetings asks the AI. Usage scenarios include automatic generation of weekly reports, onboarding of new employees and transferees, automatic creation of proposals, confirmation of the basis for management decisions, and compliance/audit response. You can start using it by performing OAuth authentication from the Rimo Voice management screen. The reason Rimo was able to realize AI agent integration is that it has implemented fine-grained permission management by meeting and participant from the beginning of the service. From the perspective of management judgment, there is a risk of breaking data lock-in by accepting access from AI, but Representative Aikawa judged that 'the risk of not being chosen in the first place is greater than the risk of being switched.'
