Hokkaido Bibai's Seasonal Delights Gather! Early Summer "Bibai Fair" for All Ages to be Held on May 23rd (Sat)

Nihon Rikagaku Kogyo Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture; Representative Director and President: Takahisa Oyama) will hold the "Bibai Fair," an event to enjoy the rich food and experiences of Bibai City, Hokkaido, at its Kawasaki Factory (Kuji, Takatsu-ku) on Saturday, May 23, 2026.

The biggest highlight this time is the direct-from-the-farm special sale of "Bibai Asparagus," which is currently at its peak season.

In addition, the Bibai kitchen car "kitdog," which had a pre-debut in April, will finally make its full-fledged start, enlivening the fair with its original menu. The venue will also feature Bibai's famous "yakitori," fried chicken "zangi," and chilled daigaku imo (candied sweet potatoes), allowing visitors to enjoy various tastes of Bibai.

Furthermore, we will be waiting with content that will make local residents smile all day long, including a magic show that has been very popular every year, a "Rakugaki Corner" with an area for free drawing, and a lottery where you can win Bibai rice.

- Direct sale of freshly picked "asparagus" delivered from Bibai City, Hokkaido.
- Freshly prepared food corners selling Bibai yakitori and zangi.

Full-scale launch:
- The Bibai kitchen car "kitdog" officially starts operation, selling haskap soda and special hot dogs.

Community interaction:
- The parking lot of Nihon Rikagaku Kogyo's Kawasaki Factory, where chalk and Kitpas continue to be made, will be opened, providing a free drawing area for everyone and a resting place for eating and drinking.

Popular events:
- The annual popular "Magic Show" and a "Lottery" where you can win rice and other prizes will be held.
- A full-fledged magic show that even adults gasp at. The lottery is also popular.

Mini festival games:
- Ring toss, strikeout, and other play corners are also available. An art corner where you can draw freely on cars and glass with "Kitpas" will be set up.

Rakugaki Area:
- An area where anyone can freely draw using Dustless Chalk and Kitpas, manufactured at Nihon Rikagaku Kogyo's Kawasaki and Bibai factories. You can also freely draw on the special Kitpas car, the Kitpas-go.

Scenes from last year's event:
- Mini festival games and strikeout enjoyed by families. Many people come to enjoy fresh vegetables and rice. The Rakugaki Corner, where you can play freely with chalk and Kitpas, is very popular every time.
