Held the 2026 Annual General Meeting

The Recording Industry Association of Japan held its annual general meeting on June 26. Following deliberation and approval of the 2025 fiscal year business report and financial statements, officer appointments were conducted, with all candidates for directors and auditors unanimously approved.

Subsequently, at the board meeting held after the annual general meeting, Mr. Shinji Hayashi was appointed as President, and Mr. Hisashi Fujikura, Mr. Keisuke Kataoka, Mr. Akira Ono, and Mr. Manabu Tsujino were appointed as Vice Presidents.

Mr. Toshiaki Muramatsu stepped down as President upon completion of his term and assumed the position of Special Advisor.

The term of office for all officers will last two years, until the 2028 annual general meeting.
