Q1 2026 (January-March) Sales Estimates Announced: Music Software and Music Distribution Sales Estimated at 99.2 Billion Yen, 106% Year-on-Year

We are pleased to announce the sales estimates for music software and music distribution for the first quarter of 2026 (January-March). These sales estimates are statistical data indicating the overall trends of the domestic record market, calculated by adding the reported results of RIAJ member companies to estimated values for non-member companies based on the market share of member companies. For the first quarter of 2026, the estimated domestic sales of music software and music distribution totaled 99.2 billion yen, 106% of the same period last year. Of this, music distribution grew steadily to 46.4 billion yen, 114% of the previous year.
