About this seminar

Many of you may have heard the terms "anger management" or "6-second rule" somewhere. While the increased recognition is very welcome, we also feel that significant "misconceptions" are spreading simultaneously.

In the previous distribution, participants gave us tremendous feedback, saying things like "I had completely misunderstood until now," "It was good to hear concrete ways to guide without getting angry," and "I was able to return to the basics."

In response to these strong requests, we have decided to hold an encore distribution of this seminar.

This time, Shunsuke Ando, the founder of our association, will once again thoroughly explain how to resolve misconceptions surrounding anger management, what it truly entails, and how to improve your skills.

What is Anger Management?

Anger management is a psychological training developed in the United States in the 1970s to help individuals deal effectively with anger. By learning anger management, individuals can understand their own anger and establish good relationships with those around them.

Initially, it was established primarily in California as a correctional program for domestic violence, discrimination, and minor offenders. Today, it is widely adopted in educational institutions and corporations throughout the United States and has been utilized for many years to improve educational and workplace environments and enhance learning and work performance.

In recent years, the importance of anger management has been recognized globally, including in Japan, and its implementation has begun in public institutions, corporations, educational settings, and medical fields. In Japan, the Japan Anger Management Association was established in 2011 as the Japanese branch of the National Anger Management Association, the world's largest organization, and has been promoting anger management, which the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology also considers important, throughout society.
