Real Estate Tech Association Opens Public Call for Services to Be Listed in the 12th Real Estate Tech Chaos Map

The Real Estate Tech Association, a general incorporated association promoting real estate × IT, announced that it is opening a public call for services and businesses that meet its listing requirements ahead of the release of the latest Real Estate Tech Chaos Map, the 12th edition. Applications and recommendations are accepted from both service providers and third parties. Real estate tech, also known as PropTech or ReTech, refers to values and mechanisms that use technology to address issues in real estate-related industries and transform conventional business practices. Eligible listings must be real estate tech businesses or services that use technology and provide services not only internally but also to other companies. They must create added value through technology rather than merely providing information. The Real Estate Tech Chaos Map has been published annually since 2016, compiling real estate tech businesses and services that meet the association’s criteria based on its own research. While the association says it strives for fair and comprehensive research, it acknowledges limitations in completeness and accuracy because the research is conducted by a team within a nonprofit organization. To improve the coverage and accuracy of listed content, the association has decided to solicit potentially eligible real estate tech businesses and services in advance. Services collected through applications and recommendations will be reviewed fairly according to the association’s definition of real estate tech, and listing decisions will be made accordingly. The application period runs from Tuesday, May 12, 2026, to Friday, June 5, 2026. Required application items include the recommended service name, the company providing the service, business description, official website URL, reason for application, applicant’s company name, applicant’s name, applicant’s email address, and the desired Chaos Map category. For third-party recommendations, the category field is not required. The review criteria will consider innovation, practicality, and market contribution in line with the association’s definition of real estate tech. Applicants should select one Chaos Map category from the available options. The 12th edition of the Chaos Map is scheduled to be announced in late August. The association will not provide advance notice regarding whether individual submitted businesses or services will be listed.
