is a commemorative day established on June 15 every year. It originates from the merger of the former Kisarazu Prefecture and Inba Prefecture on June 15, 1873 (Meiji 6), which led to the birth of 'Chiba Prefecture.' It was officially established in 1984 to commemorate the prefecture's population exceeding 5 million.
In celebration of , Resol no Mori has prepared a special lodging plan again this year: the 'Chiba Prefecture Day Commemoration! Lodging Plan with Free Peanut Ice Cream Making Experience,' which allows guests to enjoy the usually paid 'Peanut Ice Cream Making' program for free.
Guests can finish making ice cream themselves using peanuts from Yachimata, a region known as a famous production area within the 'Peanut Kingdom of Chiba,' which boasts the highest peanut production in Japan. The ice cream utilizes the fragrant and rich flavor of these peanuts. The unique experience involves putting heavy cream, milk, sugar, and crushed peanuts into a special can filled with ice and salt, then simply kicking and rolling it to complete the process—a fun and casual activity. This popular program, usually offered for 2,500 yen (tax included) per group, will be provided for free for a limited time.
This year's special plan is available to everyone, not just residents of Chiba Prefecture. Furthermore, it is available to guests staying in the 'Grandvaux Spa Village' glamping area as well as the 'Dear One Spa Garden' area, where guests can stay with their dogs.
It is an ideal plan for early summer leisure, allowing guests from children to adults—and even those with their dogs—to enjoy freshly made ice cream in the great outdoors while spending memorable moments with family and loved ones during this season of soft sunlight and pleasant breezes.
