It originates from the merger of the former Kisarazu Prefecture and Inba Prefecture on June 15, 1873 (Meiji 6), which gave birth to 'Chiba Prefecture'. Later, it was officially established in 1984 to commemorate Chiba Prefecture's population exceeding 5 million.

To celebrate , Resol no Mori has prepared a special accommodation plan this year, the 'Chiba Prefecture Citizen's Day Commemorative! Accommodation Plan with Free Peanut Ice Cream Making Experience,' allowing guests to enjoy the normally paid experience program 'Peanut Ice Cream Making' for free.

Using peanuts from Yachimata, a renowned production area within 'Peanut Kingdom Chiba Prefecture,' which boasts the highest peanut production in Japan, you can create your own ice cream, highlighting its fragrant and rich flavor. The unique experience of filling a special can with ice and salt, adding fresh cream, milk, sugar, and crushed peanuts, sealing it, and then kicking and rolling it to completion is appealing for its playful and casual enjoyment. This popular experience program, usually offered at ¥2,500 per group (tax included), will be provided for free for a limited time.

Furthermore, this year's special plan is available not only to residents of Chiba Prefecture but to everyone.
