Replus has been active since its establishment in 2013, primarily in Ishinomaki City, Miyagi Prefecture, aiming for "a society where everyone, from children to the elderly, regardless of illness or disability, can continue to live healthily in the community."

More than 10 years have passed since its establishment, and as our business, staff, and engagement with the community have significantly expanded, we had the opportunity to re-examine "who we are and why we exist." Through repeated dialogues with all staff, three important axes of "connection" emerged.

One is connection with oneself: listening to one's own voice, facing one's feelings and values, and living authentically. The second is connection with society: connecting with local people and culture, and living together with a role. The third is connection with nature: realizing that we cannot live without the natural world that exists as a matter of course, and living richly while valuing it.

We have revised our philosophy system, based on these three axes of connection, and have also refreshed our visuals and illustrations.

■ New Vision, Mission, Value

【Vision (The future we aim to realize)】

A society where people and nature coexist, everyone supports each other across positions and generations, and each individual can continue to challenge themselves and live their own life.

【Mission (Our role and mission to achieve the vision)】

To nurture connections between people, between people and society, and with nature, respecting each other's feelings, and expanding relationships free from loneliness and isolation.

【Value (The value we provide to society)】

To contribute to the well-being of each individual through "peace of mind" and "connections."

■ Logo and Visual Renewal

To visually embody the world view of our new VMV, we have completely renewed our logo and illustrations. The design was handled by graphic designer Tomoko Kon.

【Logo Concept】

When shaping Replus's aspirations, two elements were paramount: "connecting with oneself" and "nature." This includes users striving for recovery by engaging with their own bodies through prevention, care, and rehabilitation; Replus employees growing by facing themselves; and positive ripples spreading to users and those around them... This image is exemplified by a mountain landscape reflecting in a lake, forming a large "plus" sign.

【Visual Concept】

Replus's philosophy of valuing connections between people and nature, and people and society, and expanding relationships free from isolation, is expressed through illustrations. As a presence that stays close and watches over daily life, Replus is depicted as a river and nature, illustrating the diverse lives of users and those around them. Playing with frogs, or relaxing leisurely. We hope that when people see these, they will feel a sense of calm and be inspired to cherish themselves.

■ Comment from Representative Director (Daigo Hashimoto)

Since its establishment, Replus has always operated with the same logo, illustrations, and philosophy. However, looking ahead to the next 10 years, times are changing significantly. The past 10 years were truly centered on recovery and reconstruction from the Great East Japan Earthquake. Now, we feel that an era is coming where we must face new challenges such as responding to a declining population, the issue of human isolation, and re-examining the relationship between people and nature.

Against this backdrop, all Replus staff wanted to clearly articulate and visualize "what we value" and "what kind of society we want to create." At this timing, we brought in designer Kon to create the logo and visuals. For the VMV revision and logo renewal, four meetings involving all staff were held over the past year, reflecting everyone's voices.
