Concept

"Innovative Chinese" woven by a chef with a French background

"Ren" (Lotus) is written on a large hanging scroll in the restaurant. The lotus is known as an auspicious flower in China, and it is a flower that possesses both strength and delicacy, as in the saying, "The lotus emerges from the mud but is not stained by it."

Like this lotus flower, we offer dishes that sublimate modern Chinese cuisine by interweaving the deep "strength" of Chinese cuisine with meticulous "delicacy" throughout.

Furthermore, the character "Ren" (蓮) also means "to connect" (連), and the restaurant's theme is the connection of dishes with pairings and other beverages, and the connection between the restaurant and its customers.

Chef Hiroshi Nakagawa

After honing his French culinary skills at prestigious restaurants such as Imperial Hotel and restaurant T3, he studied Chinese cuisine at series and experienced its profound depths. In 2022, he received the Silver Egg Award at "RED U-35," Japan's largest competition for young chefs. He is an internationally active chef who also holds a sommelier qualification.
