Remixpoint, Inc. (Securities Code: 3825; Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Yoshihiko Takahashi; hereinafter 'the Company') has registered the Demand Response (DR) program it provides as an eligible DR menu for the 'FY2025 Supplementary Commercial and Industrial Battery Storage System Installation Support Project' promoted by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI).

As announced on May 22, 2026, the Company is registered as a retail electricity provider offering DR menus under this project. With the addition of the new DR menu, the options for electricity plans that can be proposed when installing battery systems using subsidies have expanded. The Company can now propose the most suitable plan based on electricity usage patterns from among five high-voltage electricity plans, including market-linked, fixed-rate, and hybrid models.

The Company will continue to contribute to the stable supply of electricity, a key energy challenge in Japan, by providing electricity services utilizing DR.

*1 This project is implemented as part of the FY2025 supplementary 'Subsidies for Projects to Expand Renewable Energy and Support Decentralized Energy Resources.' Sponsored by METI, it subsidizes the installation of equipment capable of DR to further promote renewable energy and stabilize electricity supply and demand.

*2 A system where consumers adjust the balance of electricity supply and demand by smartly controlling their electricity consumption.

Background of DR Promotion In recent years, the deployment of renewable energy has been expanding toward achieving carbon neutrality. However, power sources derived from renewable energy, such as solar power, are prone to fluctuations in generation based on weather and time of day, making the maintenance of electricity supply-and-demand balance a key social challenge. In this environment, a flexible adjustment capability is required not only on the generation side but also on the demand side consuming electricity to ensure a stable supply.

DR is a mechanism in which consumers adjust the supply-demand balance by smartly controlling their electricity consumption, and the government is promoting the dissemination of storage batteries and DR. This project aims to support the introduction of commercial and industrial battery systems capable of DR, expanding renewable energy deployment and ensuring a stable power supply.

About the Company's DR Program The DR program provided by 'Remix Denki' is a participatory service that contributes to adjusting the electricity supply-demand balance by having contract customers cooperate in saving power to a reasonable extent. By registering this program as an eligible DR menu for the project, the target battery storage systems can now be used as DR resources.

Under this project, the Company offers two types of battery storage systems, manufactured by SolaX Power and Growatt, as eligible equipment for subsidies. Each system automatically charges and discharges according to market prices and supply-demand conditions, enabling efficient power control.

Furthermore, regarding the electricity plans to be contracted when installing the battery systems, customers can now choose from five high-voltage power plans, including market-linked, fixed-rate, and hybrid models. This allows for optimal plan proposals tailored to customers' electricity usage patterns and their stance on price fluctuation risks.

Customers can contribute to stabilizing power supply and demand by participating in DR, and receive incentives based on their response performance. In addition, the use of battery storage systems is expected to optimize electricity costs.

Key Benefits of Installing Battery Storage Systems Optimization of electricity costs and reduction of environmental impact By utilizing battery storage systems, it is possible to suppress consumption during peak hours and utilize surplus electricity from solar power. This contributes to cost optimization and environmental load reduction through efficient electricity use.

Reducing the burden of capital investment through tax incentives Utilizing the 'Tax System for Strengthening Management of SMEs' can reduce the tax burden associated with capital investments.

Lowering operating costs with the Company's unique 'Battery Discount' support measure The Company covers a portion of the electricity cost for charging based on the number of installed battery systems, helping reduce running costs after installation.

Reducing initial cost burdens through subsidy utilization Utilizing this project allows customers to access subsidies with a subsidy rate of 1/3 when installing commercial and industrial battery storage systems.
