Rembrandt Group (Headquarters: Atsugi City, Kanagawa Prefecture; Representative Director: Kunimichi Komaki) announces that multiple projects devised by students as part of the 2025 academic year achievements in the "Management Seminar" event team, an industry-academia collaboration project with Tokai University's Faculty of Physical Education, Department of Sports and Leisure Management, will be progressively implemented at the hot spring facility "Totonoino Sato Hadano Yukaraku" starting April 2026. This project involves "aumo," Japan's largest tourism media, as a media partner, and aims for students to engage in solving regional issues and creating value through "practical PDCA learned on-site."
Moving forward, we will expand initiatives like this project to other business areas of our group, deepening into more multifaceted practical education in hospitality management.
## 2025 Project Achievements: Student Ideas to "Social Implementation"
This project, conducted over four months from September 2025, involved 17 students tackling real management challenges at "Totonoino Sato Hadano Yukaraku." By visiting the facility and cycling through the "hypothesis → verification → improvement" PDCA process, students devised measures aimed at acquiring new customers and strengthening repeat visits, which have been decided for actual implementation within the facility starting April 2026.
### ◇ The following selected initiatives will be progressively implemented and operated from April 2026.
① "Local Seasonal Baths" Implementation (April 6th - 19th)
Student-conceived baths such as "Dokudami Bath: from April 6th" and "Ginger Bath: from April 13th" will be implemented as a Tokai University collaborative project.
Utilizing local ingredients, these baths will convey the charm of the region to a wide range of generations, from seniors to young people.
② Culture Park Collaboration Mutual Customer Referral Initiative
Leaflets with free towel set coupons will be placed for users of the nearby "Culture Park."
This will enhance circulation within the region and contribute to economic revitalization.
③ "Hadano Citizen's Week" Event (April 6th - 10th)
This campaign will offer discounts on the 2nd-floor clothed sauna for Hadano citizens, strengthening the facility's function as a community hub.
④ A stamp mission will be implemented for existing LINE members, conditional on using the sauna, dining, and relaxation services. Achievers will receive a free admission ticket.
⑤ Linkage with Tokai University Freshman Orientation
Targeting approximately 6,000 new students of Tokai University, student teams will take the lead in operating booths, such as a "Nomiyu" (drinking bath) booth.
Students will be at the forefront of planning and customer service, independently creating and managing their booths.
"Totonoino Sato Hadano Yukaraku" will share its management know-how in hot spring facility operations and back up the students' challenges.
Through authentic hospitality unique to students, a warm welcome will be extended to new students, while supporting the practical growth of the students involved in the operation.
Moving forward, we will expand initiatives like this project to other business areas of our group, deepening into more multifaceted practical education in hospitality management.
