TACT FESTIVAL 2026 opens tomorrow! Artist comments have arrived! Make your theater debut at Geigeki! TACT (Theatre Arts for Children and Teens) FESTIVAL, which everyone from children to adults can enjoy, will open on Wednesday, April 29 (holiday). Centered around the Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre, we will deliver a total of 16 programs and 66 performances, ranging from paid theater programs to free programs. On April 29 (Wed/Holiday), the highly popular 'TACT Yose' will be held with three luxurious performances. From May 2 (Sat), we will present the circus duo's work 'LA BOULE,' the poetic and fantastic 'L’Après-midi d’un faune Version 1' by Compagnie Non Nova - Phia Ménard, where dancing vinyl comes to life, and participatory music by the composer group 'JACSHA,' which creates new art by listening to sumo events and professional sumo tournaments from various regions. We will also offer free programs such as brass band live performances, collaborations between young pianists in elementary and junior high school and professional musicians, street performances, and craft workshops.
