Highlights of the Exhibition
① Diverse expressions related to 'self-care' by Art Brut and contemporary artists
With 'self-care' as the theme, the exhibition introduces works that evoke a sense of comfort and provide an opportunity to reflect on daily life. These include circular and dot/line drawings born from the joy of drawing, video installations reflecting everyday scenes like sunlight filtering through trees, diaries where small daily changes appear within a fixed format, and works that chronicle the process of confronting oneself through essays and photographs. These works, which connect to self-care practices like mindfulness and journaling, offer viewers new perspectives for self-nurturing and 'listening to their inner voice'.
② An exhibition space to slowly confront oneself, away from the hustle and bustle of Shibuya
The space is divided by rounded fixtures and curtains, creating a soft atmosphere where visitors can spend time at their leisure. Benches are installed in each exhibition room. Visitors can sit and take their time viewing the works, or simply lost in thought. The aim is for the time spent in the exhibition rooms to be a moment of peace and self-reflection, away from the noise of Shibuya.
③ Related events such as artist talks are planned
■ Artist Talk (with sign language interpretation) [No reservation required]
Date: Sunday, July 12, 2026, 14:00-15:30
