Promoting Initiatives to Deliver Cultural Experiences to Children
In June 2025, we launched the Tokyo Children's Art and Culture Platform "TOKYO Culture Debut" to provide cultural experiences to more children. Through this platform, we will integrally coordinate program development, public relations, and human resource development with the cooperation of organizations and companies in Tokyo, enabling children to create their own works, perform on stage, and experience high-quality cultural activities across diverse genres such as art, music, theater, and traditional performing arts. Centered on this project, we will strengthen initiatives across the entire foundation through Arts Council Tokyo's children's experience programs, including the "Next Creation Program" which started in 2024, and programs implemented at various metropolitan cultural facilities.
Strengthening Human Resource Development to Support Art Activities
We support artists' creative activities and also focus on nurturing human resources for arts and culture. In 2025, we started accessibility coordinator courses in the arts and culture field, and the "Kototetote" training program for children's art and culture experience coordinators. In 2026, we plan to launch a new human resource development program (tentative name) that connects the art and business sectors.
For details on the projects, please refer to this press release.
