The Dream of Kamiikedai Animal Hospital Group
Creating a society where people around the world have the courage to take action
- Proving the possibilities of life beyond the framework of a veterinarian -
Suddenly, have you ever felt, "Is it okay for my life to stay like this?"
Doing the same job every day, in the same place, with the same people.
That everyday life is by no means something to take for granted, but an important accumulation that supports animals and their owners.
I, too, have cherished the small events and growth in my daily life.
However, if you have even a slight feeling of wanting to "see a different world," I believe that taking that first step will be the catalyst to greatly expand the possibilities of your life.
As a veterinarian, I have faced countless lives.
Life is limited.
That is precisely why people should inherently be able to live more freely and boldly.
Actually, in an environment overseas with different languages and cultures, by taking the initiative to speak up and act, I have encountered fascinating people with different values that I would not have interacted with in my life so far, and I have repeatedly experienced moments when the scenery of my life changed.
That wasn't because I had a special talent.
It was simply the difference of whether I took action or not.
Our dream is to create a society where everyone is excited about their own potential and can take action.
Why do we want to fulfill this dream?
When I was a high school student, I was told that being a veterinarian is a strict and dreamless profession.
I think this is a phrase that many veterinary students and veterinarians have heard at least once.
Indeed, the field of veterinary medicine is demanding and a profession with a heavy mental and physical burden.
However, I have thought that instead of just accepting that reality, there is a possibility of changing it through action.
In fact, I have experienced that by being conscious of positive words and accumulating actions while being grateful for each day, the people I meet and the environment gradually change.
The attitude of perceiving every day as "thank you" and "wonderful" changes one's own actions, and as a result, changes how the surrounding world is seen.
Today is said to be an uncertain era. However, I believe there is reproducibility even within it. By accumulating small efforts and actions every day, big changes can eventually be created. That accumulation is exactly the driving force that brings about one's own success and expands the possibilities of life.
Also, I have realized that one small action of having the courage to speak out can be the catalyst that greatly changes one's life. Actions of stepping forward myself, such as interviews overseas and interactions with local people, created new encounters and expanded my values, showing me a world I couldn't see in my life so far.
In other words, I believe that the environment does not determine life, but the accumulation of daily small actions changes the future.
That is precisely why, even if there is a reality that the profession of a veterinarian is said to be severe, I believe that its possibilities can be greatly expanded depending on how it is done.
What we are doing to fulfill our dream...
