ReGACY and Chiba Prefecture Launch Application for FY2026 Deep Tech Startup Creation Support Project

ReGACY Innovation Group Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Koichi Naruse; hereinafter "ReGACY") is implementing the "Reiwa 8 Deep Tech Startup Creation Support Project" in collaboration with Chiba Prefecture.

We are pleased to announce that we have begun accepting applications for support candidates for this project.

Overview of the Project
This project provides an intensive hands-on support program lasting approximately 9 months, including mentoring by experts, for researchers and others in the deep tech field who face various challenges in commercializing their technological seeds.

Application Overview
Eligible Applicants:
Researchers and others possessing technological seeds who plan to establish a startup (set up a business base, etc.) in Chiba Prefecture in the future.

Expected Number of Selections:
Generally 3 parties
*Depending on the screening results, up to 5 parties may be selected.

Schedule (Planned):
- Application Period: Monday, May 18 to Wednesday, June 17
- First Screening (Documentary): Mid-June 2026
- First Screening Results Notification: Friday, June 26, 2026
- Second Screening (Presentation): Wednesday, July 1, 2026
- Selection Decision: Wednesday, July 15
- Implementation of Hands-on Support: Thursday, July 16 to Wednesday, March 31

Role of Hands-on Support by ReGACY
Through mentoring of the selected parties, ReGACY will help organize issues and present action hypotheses tailored to the status of each seed, thereby supporting the acceleration of commercialization.

[Examples of Support]
- Construction and Verification of Potential Customers and Application Hypotheses: We will support the formulation of hypotheses for potential customers and the construction of application hypotheses through needs verification via interviews, etc.
- Business Model Construction: We will support the construction of a business model, including solution development, value proposition, and delivery methods.
- Intellectual Property Strategy Construction: We will support the construction of intellectual property strategies necessary for commercialization, including open/closed strategies.
- Fundraising Support: We will support the acquisition of funds necessary for commercialization, such as obtaining subsidies.
*In addition, we will provide tailor-made support according to the specific issues faced by the selected parties.

Based on its track record of conducting over 900 commercialization programs and supporting over 200 researchers nationwide, ReGACY will implement "commercialization support through hands-on accompaniment" aimed at "creating deep tech startups in Chiba Prefecture."
