Recruit Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Keiichi Ushida) announces that its used car information media 'Car Sensor,' which it plans and produces, will sequentially begin TV broadcasting and web distribution of a new commercial featuring Nanao and Ryuji Akiyama of Robert, starting May 4, 2026 (Monday/Holiday).

This commercial features X JAPAN's famous song 'Kurenai' as its theme, showcasing valuable live footage and instruments used by the band members themselves. In interviews with Nanao and Akiyama, inspired by X JAPAN fans' nickname 'Unmei Kyodotai' (Community of Destiny), Nanao talks about her 'community of destiny,' and Akiyama reveals a 'shocking truth he confirmed during filming.'

CM Content

This CM series, featuring older sister Nanao (Nanao) and younger sister Nanae (Ryuji Akiyama of Robert), has always been known for its unexpected collaborations and unique developments. This time, with the legendary band X JAPAN's 'Kurenai,' it has become a CM full of highlights.

When Nanao stands pensively and mutters, 'Car Sensor, an exciting car, won't you find it for me...?', the X JAPAN logo appears on her smartphone screen. A loud shout of 'Kurenai daaaaa!!!!!' echoes, and the CM goes full throttle. Carried by the lyrics and passion of 'Kurenai,' it concludes with 'This one car you'll never meet again. For used car search, Car Sensor.' The stage set in the CM features YOSHIKI's actual drums, PATA's and HIDE's guitars, and TAIJI's bass. Furthermore, the lineup is full of highlights, including live footage from their debut in 1989, and from their reunion in 2008 (with some from 2009) when HEATH and SUGIZO joined the band, as well as versions featuring YOSHIKI's crystal piano. As web-exclusive content, a long version re-editing various commercials will also be released to allow viewers to fully enjoy the charm of X JAPAN. Please look forward to it.

Filming Scene

The filming took place at a studio in Tokyo. The studio gathered the instruments, one of the highlights of this work. With the kindness of those involved, we were able to borrow the actual instruments used by the members themselves, including YOSHIKI's crystal piano and drums with his name engraved, and HIDE's guitar with his own psychedelic paint.

When Nanao and Akiyama arrived on set and were told that the instruments placed on the set were YOSHIKI's real crystal piano and crystal drums, Nanao leaned forward in surprise, exclaiming, 'What?! Really?! The real thing?' Akiyama, seeing the actual items, gasped and murmured, 'This is amazing...'

In the live stage scene, Akiyama struck an X pose, and Nanao, stylishly, along with the enthusiastic audience, cheered, 'For used car search, Car Sensor!'

Special Interview with Nanao and Akiyama

Q. This new commercial features X JAPAN's 'Kurenai.' Please tell us your thoughts on the work and the filming.

Nanao: This is the fourth collaboration in the 'Car Sensor' CM series, and I was very happy because I didn't expect it to be X JAPAN this time. YOSHIKI's actual piano and drums, and guitars and bass (real ones) are also appearing in the commercial, so I would be happy if you pay attention to those parts as well.

Akiyama: It was amazing, wasn't it? The audience too. Everyone was headbanging, it was incredibly enthusiastic. Following GLAY (in the third commercial), it's X JAPAN, so it's a continuous collaboration with incredible bands.

Q. Please tell us other highlights of this commercial.

Nanao: In this commercial, 1989, 2008 (partially 2009)...
