Log House Brand BESS Renews Corporate Business to "BESS ARCHITECTS"!

BESS, a brand of log houses (RC Core Co., Ltd. / Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, President & CEO: Yasuharu Sunagoshi), will renew its corporate business, currently operated by the Special Construction Division, to "BESS ARCHITECTS" starting April 1, 2026 (Wednesday). Concurrently, sales of the "BESS Resort Package," which enables resort facility planning to completion in as little as one year and from 100 million yen, will also commence on the same day.

In 2025, the number of foreign visitors to Japan recorded an all-time high of approximately 42.7 million. With the government aiming to host 60 million foreign visitors by 2030, the development of accommodation and lodging infrastructure is expected to remain a crucial theme.

Our company established the Special Construction Division in 2022 to handle corporate business, engaging in the development of resort and camp facilities, accommodations, and apartment buildings. Fueled by the increase in foreign visitors, sales have expanded. In particular, resort facilities combining multiple BESS standard wooden houses, known for their high design quality, have garnered praise for creating a unique world distinct from conventional offerings. Orders have been steadily increasing in areas such as Furano, Hakuba, Fuji Five Lakes, and Rusutsu. Orders in the resort sector have approximately tripled between 2022 and 2025.

Against this backdrop, we are renewing our corporate business to "BESS ARCHITECTS" with the aim of further scaling our operations. This change goes beyond a mere name change; we will fully leverage the brand assets of our housing brand "BESS," including its design, worldview, and supply system, into the non-residential sector. Specifically, centered around BESS's standard wooden houses, comprising 4 types and 34 models (including terraced houses, detached rental houses, Japanese-style houses, and cabins), we will support businesses in opening wooden facilities that offer high customer appeal and competitive advantage, tailored to their specific uses and plans.

We are now launching the "BESS Resort Package," the first package from BESS ARCHITECTS, for resort operators. This package allows for the speedy development of highly competitive detached rental resort facilities by combining one management building with three accommodation buildings selected from the 4 types and 34 models of standard wooden houses. Compared to typical resort development, which usually takes over two years from planning to completion, this package enables completion in as little as one year and from 100 million yen.

Furthermore, we will further strengthen our efforts in regional revitalization through the development of resort facilities and apartment buildings.
