hotice inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Wuji Zhao) conducted a "Survey on X (formerly Twitter) Usage" targeting consumers nationwide.
In this survey, we comprehensively analyzed the viewing habits, timing of use, and motivation for utilization by demographic among Japanese people as of 2026. As a result, it became clear that X has firmly established itself as a "live infrastructure that visualizes the heartbeat of society," with approximately 60% of respondents accessing it daily.
A clear division in information contact scenarios by gender emerged: men tend to adopt an "immersive" style of one hour or more, while women favor a "gap-time" style between household chores. This highlights how different generations and genders master X as their unique "information weapon."
