Mitsui Fudosan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo, President & CEO: Shun Ueda) is pleased to announce the opening of the 8th location for 'POPUP Ramen,' a nationwide ramen pop-up initiative, at the food court of 'Mitsui Outlet Park LaLaport Fukuoka.' This marks the first opening in Fukuoka Prefecture.

As the fourth installation, 'Shiragami,' a restaurant featured in the Michelin Guide Aichi, Gifu, Mie 2019 Special Edition, will be open for a limited time from April 1st to July 31st.

■ About the Restaurant

A pioneer of shrimp ramen in the Tokai region, 'Shiragami' has been drawing crowds for twenty years in the rural town of Seki City, Gifu Prefecture. While their main restaurant features white shrimp ramen, this pop-up offers a reinterpretation using more common shrimp for broader appeal. Savor a legendary taste that has won nearly every local ramen award!

The Ramen Walking Project, supervised by Mr. Hiroshi Osaki, Chairman of Ramen Databank, features limited-time appearances by famous and hidden gem ramen shops that are currently gaining attention. Our proud soup balances the rich flavor of shrimp (using sweet shrimp and krill) with a tonkotsu-shoyu base. The noodles are medium-thick and wavy, emphasizing a chewy texture and delightful mouthfeel.

The miso is subtly flavored to ensure the shrimp taste is not overpowered. The 'Bakujyan' sauce served with the chashu pork is a condiment of chili peppers and garlic! Feel free to mix it into the soup to your liking.
