This card features vibrant and beautiful designs based on Mika Ninagawa's artworks of "butterflies" and "flowers," and is available in two designs: "Rakuten Card "Mika Ninagawa" Butterfly Design" and "Rakuten Card "Mika Ninagawa" Flower Design."

I created this card with the hope that seeing it briefly in daily life might brighten someone's mood and bring a more positive feeling. I would be delighted if it could become a small, colorful talisman that adds joy to everyday life.
Like the standard Rakuten Card, this card offers lifetime waiver of annual fees (Note 1), 1 point for every 100 yen spent (Rakuten Points) (Note 2), and triple points when used on Rakuten Market (Note 3). Additionally, with the "Rakuten Card" app, users can turn on "Card Design Mode" to enjoy their favorite card design in a larger size. Customers who already hold a "Rakuten Card" can also issue this card as a second "Rakuten Card."
Since launching the Rakuten Card in July 2005, our company has continued to grow, with over 33.87 million cards issued as of March 2026. We are actively promoting cross-service usage across the Rakuten Group and advancing cashless payment adoption both within and beyond the group.

Mika Ninagawa
Photographer, film director, contemporary artist
Primarily known for photography, Mika Ninagawa also actively works in film, video, and spatial installations.
She has received numerous awards, including the Kimura Ihei Photography Award. In 2010, she published a photo book through Rizzoli in New York. As a film director, she has directed five feature films including "Helter Skelter" (2012) and "Diner" (2019), as well as the Netflix original series "FOLLOWERS" (2020). In recent years, under the name "Mika Ninagawa with EiM," she has expanded her creative scope by producing large-scale installations in collaboration with the creative team "EiM."
She has published over 120 photo books and held more than 150 solo exhibitions and 130 group exhibitions worldwide. Her solo exhibition "Mika Ninagawa with EiM: Light of the Afterlife, Shadow of This World" at Kyoto City KYOCERA Museum of Art (January–March 2025) attracted 250,000 visitors.
Her latest photo books include "VIRA" (bookshop M Co., Ltd., 2026) and "mirror, mirror, mirror" (Kobunsha, 2026).
