R&AC Co., Ltd. (Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Hideomi Tachikawa; hereinafter "R&AC") has released an API function that allows its payment reconciliation system, "V-ONE Cloud," to integrate sales journal entries with "Money Forward Cloud Accounting Plus," a cloud accounting software provided by Money Forward, Inc. (Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Yosuke Tsuji; hereinafter "Money Forward").
Overview of New Functionality
This integration enables the automatic transfer of sales journal entries from "V-ONE Cloud" to "Money Forward Cloud Accounting Plus."
This is expected to reduce the burden on accounting staff who previously had to manually register journal entries in the accounting system, while also improving operational accuracy.
Moving forward, "V-ONE Cloud" will continue to promote integration with various peripheral accounting systems, including accounting and sales management systems, to contribute to the productivity of back-office operations through enhanced payment reconciliation and accounts receivable management.
About R&AC's "V-ONE Cloud"
"V-ONE Cloud" is a cloud service specialized for payment reconciliation tasks.
Within accounts receivable management, payment reconciliation is often complicated by various payment methods, consumption tax, and handling fees, and is typically handled through manual, analog processes such as visual checks, manual entry, and spreadsheet software. This makes it prone to errors such as duplicate entries or manual input mistakes. Furthermore, payment reconciliation requires accurate processing within a short timeframe between the payment date and the closing date.
"V-ONE Cloud" utilizes AI (machine learning) to significantly streamline reconciliation tasks that are often done manually. In addition to reducing the workload through more efficient payment and collection processes, it helps improve the accuracy of accounts receivable management, enables early identification of outstanding receivables, and facilitates faster collection.
