Company name: quietcation, Representative: Yuki Furuta
(Representative: Yuki Furuta) has started raising funds through crowdfunding to develop and promote a new travel style called “Quietcation,” centered on the idea of a “quiet journey.”
This project will run for a limited period of 60 days from March 24, 2026, on CAMPFIRE (URL: [https://camp-fire.jp/projects/933967/preview]), with a target amount of 5 million yen.
## Background of the Project
Why did we start this project?
While tourism demand is recovering worldwide, popular tourist destinations are becoming concentrated, placing a heavy burden on local communities and the natural environment.
Meanwhile, Japan has many attractive regions and quiet, beautiful natural areas that are still unknown.
If we could slightly change the flow of people, we believe we can simultaneously achieve:
- Easing congestion in tourist areas
- Revitalizing local regions
- Creating new travel experiences
Quietcation is a challenge aimed at creating such a future tourism model.
## Project Overview
In recent years, overtourism due to a rapid increase in tourists has become a serious problem in various parts of the world. In popular tourist destinations, congestion, noise, and environmental impact are increasing, leading to a “tiring journey” not only for local residents but also for the travelers themselves.
The catalyst for this project was the founder's experience visiting a tourist spot in Kyoto during the Chinese New Year, where he witnessed overwhelming crowds. A trip that was supposed to be about enjoying beautiful scenery turned into a situation of being swallowed by a wave of people, which made him wonder, “What is a truly restful journey?”
Born from that experience is “Quietcation,” a new travel style based on the concept of a “quiet journey.”
Instead of a trip that tours crowded tourist spots, Quietcation aims to provide the value of a journey that can reset the mind and body by choosing nature-rich, calm places or less crowded times and regions.
## Crowdfunding Rewards
