Towards a Japan where skills don't disappear even after skilled workers retire in 2035
Quando Inc. aims to prevent the loss of skilled workers' expertise in Japan's construction, manufacturing, and infrastructure sectors by 2035, even after their retirement. They achieve this by implementing AI and digital technologies on-site to preserve and pass on valuable knowledge to the next generation. Through their "on-site implementation-type IT company" approach, Quando is actively working to restructure industrial practices and empower the workforce.

Our company supports the April Dream project, which aims to make April 1st a day for sharing dreams. This press release is a dream of Quando Inc.

Quando Inc. (Headquarters: Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture; Representative Director & CEO: Junichiro Shimo-oka) aims to realize a future in 2035 where, even after skilled workers retire, their techniques do not disappear from construction, manufacturing, and infrastructure sites across Japan, and social infrastructure continues to be sustainably protected.
We are not merely a SaaS vendor, nor are we a consulting firm that only devises strategies on paper. As an 'on-site implementation-type IT company' that observes on-site challenges, implements solutions on-site, and roots change through the power of cutting-edge technologies including AI, we are confronting the fundamental issues faced by Japan's core industries.
The Future We Aim to Realize
The 2035 we envision is a society where Japan's skills do not disappear even after skilled workers retire.
Young engineers responsible for bridge inspections inherit the judgment criteria of retired skilled workers through AI. Abnormalities in water pipes can be detected at the same level as former veterans. If one asks at a construction site, 'How should I judge this situation?', wisdom accumulated from decades of on-site knowledge will be returned. And the people working at these sites can proudly say, 'This job is cool.'
Changes at each individual site will transform working styles, revitalize regions, attract people, convert the dormant skills within skilled workers into capabilities usable by the next generation, and lead to what we envision as 'restructuring of industrial structure.'
This is Quando's dream, mission, and reason for existence.
Quando's Challenge: Taking on Industrial Restructuring from the Field
Quando's purpose is 'Transforming dormant potential into the power of evolution.' We are taking on DX and the restructuring of industrial structures by deeply engaging with construction, manufacturing, and infrastructure sites. Our goal is not merely operational efficiency. We aim to socially implement a system that visualizes and accumulates the dormant wisdom of skilled workers using digital and AI technologies, and passes it on to the next generation.
Representative Junichiro Shimo-oka also serves as a director of his father's construction company, continuously observing the realities of the construction industry as an insider. Furthermore, in December 2024, Quando formed a group with Nanto Giken, a long-established construction company. By understanding the field and engaging in management as a partner promoting DX, Quando advanced business reforms and system development, resulting in a 1.5x increase in sales and a 3x increase in profit. This also led to increased returns for employees, including record-high bonuses and salary increases.
We are not a company that simply provides software and AI and then finishes. We enter the field, create operations, and are responsible for solidifying changes. Through such hands-on implementation, we aim to connect Japan's core industries to the next era.

What We Are Currently Working On Towards Our Dream
SynQ Remote (Remote Communication Tool)
A remote support tool that connects on-site workers with remote engineers in real-time using just a smartphone. It is utilized at the sites of leading Japanese companies, including house builders, inspection agencies, railways, general contractors, subcontractors, and infrastructure equipment companies.
SynQ Remote Agent (On-site Supervisor Agent)
A next-generation product where an AI agent supports on-site operations based on video, audio, and context from the field. In 2026, it received a CES Innovation Award, and technology born in Fukuoka was recognized globally.
SynQ Inspection (Inspection Support App)
An inspection and checking support product that digitizes the judgment criteria of skilled inspectors, creating a system where even inexperienced members can perform inspections of a certain quality. Development is underway with an eye towards its use in construction and infrastructure sites.

We Are Looking for Members to Realize Our Dream Together!
