We believe that "creating employment in local areas will lead to a prosperous Japan," and we started our independent regional revitalization efforts in 2001, marking our 25th anniversary this year.

**The Catalyst: A Gap with Overseas Experiences**
After graduating from Wakayama National College of Technology, our Representative Director & CEO, Seiji Ura, joined a major audio manufacturer and returned to Japan after working in the United States for two and a half years from 1976.
Upon his return, he was once again struck by the beauty of Japan's nature—its mountains, rivers, and seas—and the richness of its local areas. However, he also witnessed people concentrating in urban areas in search of work, exhausted in exchange for economic development.
Feeling a sense of crisis at the situation, thinking, "Japan will decline if things continue this way," he vowed to realize a decentralized society to restore a prosperous Japan.
**Creating Local Employment with IT and More**
Even if people desire a prosperous life in local areas, there is the challenge of fewer job opportunities compared to urban areas. Therefore, we have leveraged our IT business to create new ventures such as disaster prevention and relief drones, drone programming educational materials, and the sale of natural foods like local brown rice and direct-from-farm products, along with e-commerce site operations.
25 years ago, in 2001, we opened our first local office (Tanabe City, Wakayama Prefecture). Ten years ago, in 2016, we relocated our head office from Tokyo, our founding place, to Shirahama-cho, Wakayama Prefecture. We have also opened offices in other regional areas such as Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture, and Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture, actively hiring local talent.
**"A Company that Blends In Rather Than Stands Out": Quality Soft's Regional Revitalization Examples**
Since opening multiple local offices in 2001, our consistent approach has been to "blend in rather than stand out."
At our Shirahama head office, we operate "Minna no Shain Shokudo Kuori-tei" (Everyone's Employee Cafeteria Kuori-tei), which is open to the general public. We also host events atypical for an IT company, such as summer festivals and matchmaking parties, for regional revitalization.
At the Shinshu Matsumoto Development Center and Sendai Branch, we regularly hold "Engineer Exchange Meetings" where engineers from both inside and outside the company gather to exchange ideas. We intend to continue actively contributing to the revitalization of the IT industry in local bases and value communication with local businesses and residents.
**Quality Soft's Vision for the Future**
Our goal is to "enrich the world with INNOVATION SPRINGS." While IT is an important tool for us, it is merely a means. Going forward, we plan to expand businesses that are closer to people's daily lives, such as regional resources and food, and are useful to people.
