This ordinance aims to expand plum consumption, establish the Kishu plum brand, promote and develop plum-related industries, revitalize the region, and maintain and improve citizens' health by encouraging toasts with plum wine and plum juice made from Kishu plums and actively promoting plum products like umeboshi.
