Kyukamura Shonai Haguro (Location: Haguro-machi, Tsuruoka City, Yamagata Prefecture; Manager: Osamu Yoshino), a resort hotel located in Bandai-Asahi National Park, will start selling its spring-exclusive plan, "Sea Bream from the Sea of Japan, Wild Vegetables, and Yamagata Beef Seasonal Cuisine," from April 1st. This plan allows guests to enjoy the culinary and visual delights of Shonai, the "City of Food," centered around Tsuruoka City, which is registered as a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy. In spring, snowmelt from the Dewa Sanzan mountains nourishes the land, bringing blessings to the mountains and fields. Each dish expresses the arrival of spring unique to Shonai, focusing on vibrant seasonal ingredients.

This is a special kaiseki cuisine prepared by the chef, packed with the charm of Yamagata, including "Sea Bream" from the Sea of Japan, rich in nutrients, "Yamabushi Pork," a brand of pork raised only by twelve limited livestock farmers in Haguro-machi, "Yamagata Beef," black wagyu cattle fattened in the prefecture, and Shonai's famous Moso bamboo shoots. A hotel located approximately 5 minutes by car from the stone steps of Hagurosan Cedar Avenue, which received 3 stars in the Michelin Guide, and Dewa Sanzan Shrine at the summit of Mt. Haguro.
