Q.ENEST Denki Co., Ltd. (Location: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Yusuke Hoshino; hereinafter "the Company"), a subsidiary of Q.ENEST Holdings Co., Ltd. (Location: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Heejae Jang), and Q.ENEST Power LLC, commenced energy provision combining off-site PPA and high-voltage power supply to the logistics hubs in the Chubu area operated by one of Japan's largest EC logistics companies (hereinafter "the client") starting February 1, 2026.

This initiative supports the client's decarbonization and stabilization of electricity costs in the Chubu region simultaneously. It achieves this through a hybrid configuration that covers the logistics facility's unique daytime peak load with additional renewable energy generation (solar power), while supplementing power with retail electricity during nighttime or periods of weather fluctuation.

Features of this service

・Expected annual renewable energy supply of 108,769 kWh/year

・Phased operation at two high-voltage sites within the Chubu Electric Power service area

・Replacement of a portion of daytime operations with CO2 emission-free electricity

1. Hybrid Supply of Corporate PPA × High-Voltage Power

Renewable energy will be supplied from our solar power plant (Aisai City, Aichi Prefecture, 93.6kW). Daytime power supply to the logistics facility will be handled by PPA electricity (from our solar power plant), while high-voltage power will ensure stable supply at night.

2. Supply Start Date and Period

Supply Start Date: February 1, 2026

Supply Period: One year from the actual start of supply (renewable annually through negotiation thereafter)

3. Attribution of Environmental Value

By utilizing non-FIT non-fossil certificates, environmental value is attributed to the demand-side client. This can be used for Scope 2 reductions and compliance with international initiatives such as RE100.

4. Optimal Power Management for Logistics Hubs through "Renewable Energy × Data" Combination

Logistics facilities have complex load profiles with significant fluctuations depending on the time of day, such as daytime operational peaks, nighttime temperature and inventory management, and continuous operation of automated equipment.

To address these demand characteristics, Q.ENEST combines its "Gentailer model" (integrated design of generation, trading, and retail) with its proprietary "Green Tech" (data utilization) to achieve an optimized power supply design that ensures renewable energy is fully utilized according to the client's actual needs.
