[Released Today] Drosselmeyer's "Yuruge" App Series: 4 Titles, 2 Revivals + 2 New Works, Released Simultaneously

Drosselmeyer's Co., Ltd. (Representative: Noriaki Watanabe) and Qdan Co., Ltd. (Representatives: Keisuke Saito, Kazuki Sato) began distributing four smartphone game apps for iOS and Android today, March 31st (Tuesday).

"Sanpo-shin" and "Kuron-do," which had been removed from the App Store and Google Play for a long period, are finally revived with new versions! Additionally, two completely new apps, "Himatsubu-shin" and "Oogiri-shin," are being released simultaneously. For all four titles, the game design, graphics, and illustrations are handled by the original creators.

Going forward, as the "Drosselmeyer's Official Yuruge App" series, Drosselmeyer's analog game "Yuruge" series titles are planned to be continuously adapted into apps.

◆ Background of the Revival The old versions of "Drosselmeyer's Sanpo-shin App" and "Drosselmeyer's Kuron-do App" were popular titles that had achieved #1 in the paid app rankings in the App Store's entertainment category. Subsequently, due to an account issue with the former distributor, Ikezawa Engineering, they were removed from the App Store and Google Play for a long period, making them unavailable for download to all users, including those who had already purchased them.

To resolve this issue, Drosselmeyer's Co., Ltd., which handles the original work and supervision of the games, and Qdan Co., Ltd., an app development company with extensive experience in adapting analog games into apps, such as "Dokodemo Party Game - Dokopa -" (used by 400,000 users monthly), formed a business alliance. They have jointly promoted the development and distribution of the new versions.

Kuron-do | Drosselmeyer's Official Yuruge App (Distribution Resumed - Android version released for the first time this time) This conversation game app was born from a collaboration with TBS Radio's "After 6 Junction 2." Players engage in meaningless discussions based on over 1,900 types of topics created by combining "upper phrase" and "lower phrase"! It also generated buzz at the "Kuron-do Summit" attended by the program's personalities. It's a conversation game that can easily liven up gatherings with friends or events, even with strangers.

Himatsubu-shin | Drosselmeyer's Official Yuruge App (New Work) This app was newly developed as an indoor version of the popular "Sanpo-shin." It randomly suggests over 90 "time-killing missions" as divine revelations, allowing indoor enthusiasts to enjoy themselves regardless of weather or physical condition. It's a companion app for leisurely times, solving the question "What should I do at home today?"

Oogiri-shin | Drosselmeyer's Official Yuruge App (New Work) This app automatically generates over 20,000 Oogiri (comedy improv) topics through a three-stage word combination of "upper phrase" x "middle phrase" x "lower phrase."
