[Tsukushiru] Announcement of the Release of the Tsukuba City Data Analysis Platform

PUREWORKS, Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Soichiro Furuya) has supported the development of the Tsukuba City data analysis platform, "Tsukushiru."

Tsukuba City has been designated by the national government as a Super City National Strategic Special Zone. It is expected to solve social issues and improve services for residents through bold regulatory reforms, the provision of cutting-edge services, and data linkage across multiple fields.

Currently, the city is exploring the utilization of various data to create numerous use cases and expand services for residents. Following a joint research project in fiscal year 2024 between Tsukuba City and the University of Tsukuba titled "Research on Generative AI Utilization Models in Administration," PUREWORKS supported the construction of a prototype system. In fiscal year 2025, this prototype underwent trial operations, and has now been released as "Tsukushiru" following enhancements to its operational environment and functionality to enable full-scale operation.

The Tsukuba City data analysis platform "Tsukushiru" is a portal site designed to collect various Tsukuba City data, primarily focusing on the voices of residents, and utilize AI to analyze that data for use in policies and administrative services.

Based on Tsukuba City Council minutes and citizen surveys regarding topics such as Doho Park and the Super Science City, the platform uses generative AI to organize, analyze, and visualize issues raised in the council and the opinions of citizens. It also provides features for the generative AI to summarize these issues and propose new policy measures.

Furthermore, it visualizes various open data held by Tsukuba City, making it available to citizens, other local governments, educational and research institutions, and many others.
