Hikorohi, the comedian and winner of the Shima Shingo Love Literature Award, will release their debut essay collection 'Kirehashi' through Asahi Bunko on August 7, 2026. This collection compiles the 'scraps' of daily life from the author's early struggling years, written in a unique and subtly humorous style. Hikorohi gained acclaim for their literary talent after winning the 31st Shima Shingo Love Literature Award in 2025 with their debut novel 'Silent Talk.'

To celebrate the release, a special talk event will be held on Sunday, August 9, 2026, featuring Tsuru from the comedy duo Taiyou no Komachi, who cohabited with Hikorohi at the time and wrote the book's afterword.
