The Social Design Center at Eikei University (President: Mutsuhiro Arishinobu, Location: Naka-ku, Hiroshima City) will implement a 'New Business Research Group' for core regional companies engaged in new business development. This group will share challenges and strategies for in-house new business creation and provide mutual feedback.
Despite possessing resources such as human capital, technology, funding, and credibility, many companies struggle to launch new businesses. Not only is 'launching a new business' inherently difficult, but in the case of 'realizing in-house new businesses,' a company's own systems and culture can sometimes hinder their implementation. This research group aims to structurally organize the challenges of in-house new business creation, enabling participating companies to derive strategies and ultimately establish 'mechanisms' to promote in-house new business development. The goal is to foster a situation where more efficient and dramatic new businesses can be created. We welcome media inquiries.
The first session for FY2026 will be on Tuesday, July 7th.
1. What is the New Business Research Group?
This initiative targets core regional companies working on new business creation as an organization. It provides a forum to share organizational structures, various systems, execution processes, and evaluation criteria for promoting new businesses, and to offer mutual feedback on themes. This supports participating companies in organizing their own situations and concretizing their next steps.
Through this initiative, we aim to improve organizational capabilities for new business creation, thereby promoting sustainable value creation in Hiroshima and contributing to the new growth of regional companies.
