ALI HAFIZ SHAN E, a second-year student at Eikei University (President: Mutsuhiro Arinobu, Hiroshima City, Naka Ward), is active as a member of "Mini Mini Gaikoku," an organization in Hiroshima City that provides opportunities for English learning.

The main activities involve planning and implementing initiatives to encourage children who feel shy or lack confidence in speaking English. Through participatory activities, speeches, communication practice, educational games, and cultural exchange opportunities, the organization supports children in gaining confidence and practical communication skills, enabling them to succeed both in Japan and abroad in the future.

On June 6, 2026 (Sat), ALI HAFIZ SHAN E, along with children, conducted interviews with foreign tourists at Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, approaching them in English to ask about Hiroshima's attractions.

ALI HAFIZ SHAN E states that the most rewarding aspect of this activity is seeing children gain confidence and become excited about learning. Above all, they find joy in witnessing children develop self-assurance and enthusiasm for learning.

ALI HAFIZ SHAN E's goal through this activity is to continue supporting children as an event manager, educator, and student, helping them acquire skills that will be useful throughout their lives.

ALI HAFIZ SHAN E mentioned that the problem-based learning (PBL) learned at university was useful in planning and managing events for this activity. They were able to lead the activity to success not just through classroom learning but by actually experiencing and learning firsthand.

For ALI HAFIZ SHAN E, the enthusiasm, support, and willingness to learn from the children are the driving forces behind continuing this activity and contributing further to the local community in the future.
