Prox Industries to Exhibit at the 1st Physical AI Expo within Manufacturing World Tokyo

Prox Industries Inc. (Headquarters: Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Yuji Kamei; hereinafter "Prox Industries"), a startup spin-off from the University of Tokyo's Matsuo Lab, will exhibit at the "1st Physical AI Expo" within "Manufacturing World Tokyo," one of Japan's largest manufacturing exhibitions. The event will be held at Tokyo Big Sight from Wednesday, July 1 to Friday, July 3, 2026.

Exhibition Background

In recent years, attention has been rising toward "Physical AI," an intelligence that integrates AI, robotics, and sensors to make autonomous decisions and act in the physical world.

Behind this is the shrinking birthrate, aging population, and labor shortage, which demand solutions for hazardous work, processes highly dependent on skilled workers, and tasks difficult to automate with traditional teaching-playback methods in key industries like manufacturing. Physical AI is also expected to serve as a technology foundation that not only automates and advances existing tasks but also creates new products, services, and business models utilizing robots and real-world data.

Prox Industries specializes in the Physical AI domain, supporting domestic enterprise companies in R&D and social implementation projects, as well as business design, technical development, and verification for new business creation utilizing Physical AI. At this exhibition, based on the development expertise we have accumulated using physical robots and simulation technologies, we will introduce the specific possibilities of Physical AI through live demonstrations.

Exhibition Demos

Through multiple demos developed for the exhibition, we will showcase the specific potential of Physical AI. In addition, our engineers will be available to explain our support services from R&D to deployment and business creation from a technical perspective.
