Tsukuba Circuit Course in "RIDE5"
Prototype inc. (hereinafter referred to as Prototype) and Tsukuba Circuit (Japan Auto Sports Center Foundation) will hold a joint exhibition at the Tsukuba Circuit booth at the Tokyo Motorcycle Show 2026 (TMS2026). At the booth, we will set up the prototype of Prototype's motorcycle simulator "2X", the 2X ORIGIN_ZERO, and offer content that allows visitors to experience the Tsukuba Circuit Course 2000 included in the racing game "RIDE5" by PLAION (Milestone Inc.).
"I'm interested in the circuit, but I'm a little nervous about riding it right away." This exhibition is an initiative to provide an entry point for such people to safely experience the "feeling of riding." We aim to create an opportunity for visitors to experience the atmosphere of the Tsukuba course at the venue and feel "I want to go to the real Tsukuba next time." This is something we would like beginners and children to experience.
The 2X ORIGIN_ZERO is a model designed with a focus on lowering the barrier to entry and ensuring safe enjoyment by intentionally not incorporating a leaning structure. It is designed to allow users to easily understand and experience the fun of "turning, stopping, and getting into the rhythm" of two-wheeled riding, even in a short amount of time.
Furthermore, this project is part of an effort to create a "development pathway (experience → actual riding)" that connects digital experiences to schools and actual riding experiences. In the future, we aim to create an environment where younger generations can naturally progress and expand the base of next-generation riders.
Highlights of the Joint Exhibition
1) Experience Tsukuba Circuit by "Riding" (PLAION "RIDE5" × Course 2000)
You can experience the Tsukuba Circuit Course 2000 included in "RIDE5" at the venue. Enjoy the course layout, sense of speed, and the thrill of taking the right line through controls and visuals. First, experience "Tsukuba is this fun!"
2) 2X ORIGIN_ZERO: An accessible entry point with a non-leaning structure for safe enjoyment
The 2X ORIGIN_ZERO is designed as an entry point for beginners and children to enjoy safely, by intentionally adopting a non-leaning structure. It offers an experience where even those new to circuits can touch upon the "feeling of riding" in a short time.
3) From "Urban Gateway" to "Real Tsukuba" (Development Pathway from Experience to Actual Riding)
Using the experience at the exhibition as a trigger, we aim to connect visitors to Tsukuba Circuit's schools and actual riding experiences...
