Event Highlights
Human Capital Management Shifts from "System" to "Practice"
While human capital disclosure is expanding, what is now being questioned is the reality of "how we enhance the value of people and link it to results." This session strongly emphasized the importance of "practice" – how to draw out individuals' abilities and motivation at the site level and translate them into actual behavior, rather than merely engaging in formal responses such as system design and information disclosure.
AI Will Redefine Organizational Boundaries
With the rapid advancement of AI, traditional rigid organizational structures based on departments, positions, and years of service are beginning to change significantly. The discussion explored the possibility of creating flatter, more flexible collaborations as the "organizational walls" of the past are redefined by AI connecting fragmented information and knowledge across the company.
The Era of Individuals Who Accumulate "Career Capital" Will Become Stronger
In an era where lifetime employment is no longer assumed, the concept of "career capital" – proactively learning and accumulating experience rather than passively working dependent on a company – is essential. The practical significance of practicing "Protean Career," which involves continuously updating one's own value in a rapidly changing environment, and the organizational culture that supports it were shared.
Management and HR Will Be Reconnected Through "Talent Strategy"
Human capital management is no longer a closed topic for the HR department alone; it has shifted to become a most critical theme for management itself. The session passionately discussed how to align management strategy and talent strategy to achieve visible improvements in corporate value (ROI), incorporating numerous real-world examples from consortium member companies.

Following an assignment in the U.S. (Sony USA), he joined Nitori Holdings. As the head of organization and HR under Chairman Akio Nitori, he led reforms in recruitment, training, and HR systems from a talent management perspective. Subsequently, at Renova (TSE Prime), a renewable energy power plant developer, he served as Executive Officer/CHRO, responsible for planning and executing organizational and human resource strategies linked to mid-to-long-term business strategies, focusing on developing leaders (green talent) for the global energy transition. He founded Qrious LLC in February 2023 and supports future organizational development based on "individual growth" under the guidance of various company executives.

He serves as a Public Relations Strategy Advisor for the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, and a Director of the General Incorporated Association for the Promotion of Cultural Diversity.
