Amid challenges such as a decline in growth aspirations and early turnover, a new concept called "Organization-as-Personal-Goal" (組織ゴト化) was presented, where organizations proactively embrace individuals' visions. Seminar Highlights
Transition to "Organization-as-Personal-Goal" and a form of development that transcends hierarchical relationships
Instead of traditional development that "fits individuals into company-defined paths," the concept of "Organization-as-Personal-Goal" was proposed, where the organization proactively embraces individuals' visions. It was discussed that re-examining "how the company can contribute to an individual's career" in recruitment and interviews, and shifting from a master-servant relationship to an equal partnership, directly leads to young employees' self-disclosure and trust-building.
Redefining Growth and Alleviating Anxiety in an Uncertain Era
Changes in young people's growth aspirations stem from a misalignment in the definition of growth between organizations and individuals. For a generation that values efficiency and "time-performance" (タイパ), a process was introduced to help them understand, through dialogue, how their current tasks connect to their future. The stance of seeking mutual understanding together, rather than just teaching, serves as a means to alleviate anxiety in an opaque era.
Improving the Effectiveness of HR Measures through the Intervention of On-site Leaders
Even excellent HR systems do not function without the intervention of on-site leaders. The importance of managers themselves embodying career autonomy and viewing members' growth as an organizational challenge was discussed. By sharing common goals between HR and on-site teams, and raising the quality of career support through daily dialogue, it becomes possible to build an organizational culture that does not become a mere formality.
Building Autonomous Relationships Where Individuals and Organizations Resonate
The ultimate goal is to build a win-win relationship between individuals and organizations. By connecting individual intentions with organizational direction, autonomous behavioral changes, rather than merely following instructions, are fostered. This content touched upon the essence of human capital management, redefining career support as an investment aimed at maximizing organizational performance.
