The Protean Career Association (Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, Representative Directors: Kensuke Tanaka, Toru Ariyama, hereinafter referred to as 'the Association') is an organization that supports better relationship building between organizations and individuals, and proactive career development for individuals.

We will hold a free online seminar on Thursday, April 16, 2026, titled 'Dramatic Improvement Cases of Engagement Score ~ Finding Your True Self and Career Strategy with [AI x Career] ~'.

This seminar will explain specific approaches to promote self-understanding and behavioral change for each employee, leading to improved engagement, based on practical examples of career support using AI. It will also introduce the design principles for connecting engagement survey results not just to 'understanding' but to 'improvement', as well as mechanisms for career dialogues using AI.

Seminar Background

In recent years, as the importance of human capital management has increased, many companies have introduced engagement surveys. However, the following challenges have become apparent:

  • Problems are visible, but concrete improvement measures cannot be formulated.

  • Changes do not occur even after conducting interviews or training.

  • We have not delved into the 'sense of satisfaction' or 'individuality' of each employee.

Against this backdrop, there is a demand not just for the execution of measures, but for the 'design of the mechanism itself' that connects career and organizational direction.

This seminar will explain the specific design and practical methods, based on an actual case where engagement scores were improved from 'B (Average)' to 'AA (Very High)' through AI-driven career support.

We will introduce a new approach to career development that consistently supports employees from self-understanding to behavioral change, by drawing out their 'true desires' and strengths through AI-powered chat dialogues.

Seminar Content

・ Overall design that led to AA engagement: Mechanism for career support using AI services
・ Practical application in 3 steps: From 'Self-Understanding (Identity)' to 'External Environment Analysis (Adaptability)', and then to 'Career Planning'.
・ Breakdown of success factors: How 'Job Content' and 'Supportive Behavior' in engagement surveys were improved.
・ Real behavioral change case: The experience of an employee who rediscovered their individuality and strengths through AI's guidance and returned to their team after a departmental transfer.

◆ Recommended for:

Executives, senior management, corporate planning, HR/HRBP personnel who want to learn the design and approach for actually improving engagement, not just measuring it.
Those who want to draw out employees' 'what they want to do' and strengths, and connect their careers with societal and company strategies.
Those who want to know concrete practical examples of career development and human resource development using AI.

'Why Engagement Measures Don't Work? ~ The Limits of Personnel Measures Promoted from an 'Organizational Perspective' ~'

The background of why engagement improvement and behavioral change do not occur, even when surveys, 1-on-1s, and various systems are in place, lies in the formulation of measures that are overly biased towards an 'organizational perspective'.

This seminar sorts out such structural issues and explains the concept of re-examining the organization from an individual career perspective, and the approach to personnel measures using career data.
