West Japan Railway (JR West) Group Adopts ProShip's "ProPlus+" for New Lease Accounting Standard Compliance

ProShip Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Motofumi Suzuki) announced that its SaaS solution, "ProPlus+," has been adopted by the group companies of West Japan Railway Company (Headquarters: Osaka City, Osaka; President: Shoji Kurasaka, "JR West") as the unified system platform for compliance with Japan's new lease accounting standards.

The JR West Group operates a wide range of businesses centered on its railway network in the Western Japan area, including retail, food and beverage, real estate, and hotels. In anticipation of the new domestic lease accounting standards scheduled for application from April 2027, the group has solidified its response policy and completed system selection at an early stage.

## Background and Challenges
The JR West Group was considering a group-wide system response for the mandatory application of the new lease accounting standards. Given its diverse business domains, the group faced the following challenges:
- Unifying disparate lease management processes across companies to achieve a governance-driven response to the new standards.
- Promoting the project with a sufficient preparation period to avoid on-site confusion.

## Reasons for Selection
After comparing multiple products, "ProPlus+" was selected for the following advantages:

## ProShip Future Support Project
In November 2025, ProShip launched the "ProShip Future Support Project," linking its business of supporting new lease accounting standards with CSR activities. The initiative involves donating JPY 10,000 to the Japanese Red Cross Society for every adoption by a large enterprise with sales exceeding JPY 100 billion. The current planned donation amount is JPY 3,010,000, based on 301 adoptions.
