Bando Chemical Industries, Ltd. (Headquarters: Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture) hereby announces that it will discontinue the conventional coating specification on the inner surface of the drum of its rice husking rolls and change to an uncoated specification, as described below.

1. Background of the Specification Change

The company is promoting initiatives to reduce environmental impact.

As part of these initiatives, this specification change is expected to lead to resource savings and a reduction in volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions. Therefore, the company has decided to change the inner surface of the drum of the rice husking rolls to an uncoated specification.
