This event is a special program held on days when the precipitation probability at 12:00 Noon the previous day is 70% or higher. Inspired by the history of showing movies in the early Showa period shortly after the hotel's opening, the 'Kawana Screening' will be held in the 'Second Lobby,' where the original projection room remains, offering a digest of the hotel's history and charm. After the screening, a 'Kawana History Tour' will take guests through the valuable furnishings, paintings, and insider stories known only to employees. Additionally, special benefits include half-price access to the private bath at the hot spring facility 'Brisa Marina' and classic billiards.

Facing the Sagami Sea with a panoramic view from Mt. Fuji to the Boso Peninsula and the Izu Seven Islands, the beauty of Kawana, shaped by founder Kishichiro Okura, who deeply loved the landscape, becomes even more atmospheric on rainy days.
