Izu Nagaoka Onsen Sanyo-so (Location: 270 Mannoue, Izunokuni, Shizuoka; General Manager: Masahiro Yoshiura) will hold 'Sanyo-so Jazz Night' on Friday, July 10, 2026, at the Tsukimidai.

Tsukimidai is a space traditionally established in Japan for moon viewing. Often placed overlooking gardens or ponds, it has been cherished as a uniquely Japanese cultural setting for spending quiet moments while admiring the moon with nature. Sanyo-so restored this space in May 2026, based on its appearance at the time of opening. We propose this location, designed to adore the moon, as a new cultural experience space layered with modern sensibilities.

For this event, we are departing from our usual Japanese kaiseki cuisine to offer a special, one-night-only full-course meal prepared by Go Kubota, General Executive Chef of Kawana Hotel, using local ingredients. After dinner, guests will be escorted to the Tsukimidai, wrapped in the soft air of a summer evening, where the sounds of jazz resonate comfortably in the silence.
