Chugoku Kappo Ryokan Kikusuitei (Location: 2942 Yamaguchi, Tokorozawa City, Saitama Prefecture, General Manager: Manabu Takeuchi) will hold an "Autumn Experience to Admire the Moon" at various locations within the inn, themed around "moon," the origin of Kikusuitei's name, from Tuesday, September 1, 2026, to Monday, November 30, 2026. The name Kikusuitei originates from the Chinese Tang dynasty poem "Scooping water, the moon resides in the hand." Furthermore, "Moon Rising Over Lake Tama" was selected as one of Japan's Top 100 Moon Viewing Spots, and the area is known for the beauty of the moon reflected on the water's surface.

In this project, centered around this scenery, we have expressed the sensation of scooping the moon reflected on the water and an experience of savoring and being healed by the moon. The moon encountered in nature is a "miracle if you encounter it." However, at Kikusuitei, we always offer an experience of "scooping the moon" somewhere during your stay at the inn.

Admire, savor, and feel the moon - we propose a unique way to spend your autumn at Kikusuitei.

Three Experiences to "Admire the Moon"

🌙 Stay to Enjoy the Moon | Accommodation Plan "Kikusui no Tsuki Monogatari ~Tokorozawa Stay to Savor the Moon~"

We have prepared a special stay to help you feel the beauty of the moon up close, as if gently scooping the moon reflected on the water's surface. The guest rooms are equipped with moon-themed lights, moon-viewing sets (moon-viewing dumplings, Japanese sweets), rabbit towel art, and tea incense burners to create a moment enveloped in the atmosphere of a moonlit night.

🌙 Savor the Moon | Restaurant, Lounge, and Shop

The restaurant offers a sensory experience with desserts representing the moon, dishes that "scoop the moon," and moon-viewing cocktails. The lobby lounge offers Japanese sweets inspired by the moon, and the shop offers moon-themed products such as dorayaki and yokan, allowing you to enjoy the "afterglow of the moon" from your stay until after you return home.

🌙 Be Healed by the Moon | Autumn Bathing Experience In the large public bath "Sayama no Chayu," cypress bath balls resembling the moon will be floated in the bathtub for a limited time. You can enjoy a relaxing bathing time while feeling the "moon" floating on the water's surface, along with the soft texture of the wood.
