The Prince Sakura Tower Tokyo, Grand Prince Hotel Takanawa, and Grand Prince Hotel New Takanawa (located at 3-13-1 Takanawa, Minato-ku, Tokyo; General Manager: Ayumu Imai) will host a special three-day event titled "Perfect for Summer School Projects! Kids' Experience Events" on August 3 (Mon), August 10 (Mon), and August 11 (Tue, national holiday) in 2026.

As demand grows for comfortable, family-friendly experiences during Japan's increasingly hot summers, these hotels will offer unique hands-on programs led by their own staff, combining education and fun. Children and parents can learn together through immersive activities that foster curiosity and deepen understanding of hospitality. Programs include a table manners course at a French restaurant and a two-day, one-night stay program where kids experience various hotel jobs firsthand.

Table Manners Course

At "French Cuisine Le Triannon" in Grand Prince Hotel Takanawa, the popular annual "Table Manners Course" returns. A master sommelier will guide children through the basics of table etiquette in an interactive and engaging way, while the head chef presents a special course menu created exclusively for this event. Families can enjoy a delicious meal while learning proper dining manners in a fun atmosphere.

Bartender Experience: Learning the Fundamentals of Hospitality

Grand Prince Hotel New Takanawa will launch its first-ever "Hotel Job Experience with an Overnight Stay" program. Children will learn practical hospitality skills—from greetings and luggage handling to housekeeping tasks like bed-making and even a bartender experience—gaining firsthand insight into the knowledge and joy behind hotel operations.

Summer-Only Event: "ICE Park Day"

On the second day following the job experience, participants can enjoy the exclusive "ICE Park Day" event at the Diamond Pool. Cool off with thrilling ice activities, including a dramatic performance by professional ice sculptors and the exciting plunge of ice sculptures into the pool—an unforgettable experience available only here. Additionally, each event includes an original summer project worksheet and a commemorative certificate of completion.
